Lucila Blas Esquivel de Flotte, de 60 años, de Dallas, Texas, perdió su batalla contra el cáncer peritoneal el 8 de enero de 2017. Nació en Huitzilac Morelos, México, el 30 de junio de 1956, hija de Luis Blas y Carmela Esquivel. Se casó con Valentin Flotte el 7 de noviembre de 1977.
Lucila era una amada esposa, madre y amiga. Una esposa de más de 40 años que dedicó su vida a su marido, la crianza de sus 4 hijos y 5 nietos para perseguir el sueño americano. Ella se acercó a Dios como un miembro dedicado a su estudio bíblico y grupo de oración rosario.
Lucila es sobrevivida por su marido Valentin Flotte y tres hijos, Erika Godinez y Bianca Flotte y Mike Flotte, de Dallas, Texas. Lucila fue precedida en muerte por su hija mayor, Elizabeth Aracely Gonzalez de Dallas, Texas. También le sobreviven sus 5 nietos, Nicolas, Vladimir y Nelson González, Cristian y Carina Godinez.
Un rosario se llevará a cabo el jueves 12 de enero de 2017 en la funeraria de González (3050 North Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, TX 75247). La misa del funeral tendrá lugar a las 12:30 pm en la Iglesia Católica Santa Monica (9933 Midway Road Dallas, TX 75220) el viernes, 13 de enero de 2017, con entierro inmediatamente siguiente en el cementerio Forest Lawn (10977 Harry Hines Blvd. Dallas, TX 75220 ).
Una comida será servida en la residencia de Godinez después del entierro (4048 Flintridge Drive, Dallas, TX 75244).

Lucila Blas Esquivel de Flotte, age 60, of Dallas, Texas lost her battle to peritoneal cancer on January 8th, 2017. She was born in Huitzilac Morelos, Mexico on June 30, 1956 to the late Luis Blas and Carmela Esquivel. She married Valentin Flotte on November 7, 1977.
Lucila was a beloved wife, mother and friend. A wife of over 40 years she dedicated her life to her husband, raising her 4 children and 5 grandchildren to pursue the American dream. She grew closer to God as a dedicated member to her bible study and rosary prayer group.
Lucila is survived by her husband Valentin Flotte and three children, daughters: Erika Godinez and Bianca Flotte and son Mike Flotte, of Dallas, Texas. Lucila was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Elizabeth Aracely Gonzalez of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Nicolas, Vladimir and Nelson Gonzalez, Cristian and Carina Godinez.
A rosary will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Gonzalez Funeral Home (3050 North Stemmons Freeway. Dallas, TX 75247). The funeral mass will take place at 12:30pm at Saint Monica Catholic Church (9933 Midway Road Dallas, TX 75220) on Friday, January 13, 2017, with burial immediately following at Forest Lawn Cemetery (10977 Harry Hines Blvd. Dallas, TX 75220).
